School Flag & Crest

The School Flag bears a white lamp, representing the school’s motto of scattering light to the world through word and deed, on a green background.

The school crest was designed in 1915, when the name of the school was changed from ‘Kollupitiya Girls’ High School’ to ‘Methodist College’.
