It was a privilege for Methodist College to join hands with the Samaritans in Sri Lanka for their first ever EGGATHON on Thursday 26th June. Recognizing the high nutritional value and accessibility of eggs, the Egg Bank run by The Samaritans in Sri Lanka collects and distributes fresh eggs to underserved communities, especially children and families in need of protein-rich food. This initiative not only addresses hunger but also supports better health and development outcomes. Our contribution of over 6000 eggs will reach 750 children across 3 districts, in hopes of lifting them out of a state of malnutrition.
