Learning Journey – Grade 4 & 5
From classroom learning to exciting real-world experiences 🌍✨
Our Grade 4 and Grade 5 students recently enjoyed educational visits to the Colombo National Museum and Viharamahadevi Park, where they had the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
By exploring history, nature, and their surroundings firsthand, our young learners developed important skills such as communication, observation, teamwork, and public etiquette. These experiences also helped them grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence while gaining a better understanding of the world around them.
At Methodist College, we believe learning becomes more meaningful when students are given opportunities to connect lessons with real-life experiences — helping them grow into confident, caring, and capable individuals. ✨
